Storage.co.uk Award Winners Announced!

Winners have just been announced in the inaugural Storage.co.uk Awards for Excellence.

Designed to celebrate and promote good practice in the self storage industry, the Awards organisers received large numbers of nominations for a total of ten categories.

In some categories, competition was fierce, whilst in others there were very clear leaders. Judges considered all 1200 storage facilities in the UK and ultimately chose five winners in each category.

Says Storage.co.uk head Angus Hanton, ‘Self storage is quickly becoming a major industry in the UK, in which it’s increasingly hard for companies to stand out. These awards should inform customers which storage firms are really going that extra mile to provide them with the best service.’

Winners included Safehouse Self Storage in the Innovation category, for running their own café on site, as well as Attic Self Storage in Bow who picked up an Environmental Awareness Award for deriving more than a third of their energy from renewable sources.

Robertsbridge Container Storage in East Sussex won a Promotional Film Award. Their film, which features on their website, was made to a high standard and gives a very positive impression of the business.
